Jon Mosey

Jon Mosey is a compelling performer who presents a truly unique blend of original music - innovative yet familiar. He is equally at home playing pre-war Blues styles, Ragtime, Western Swing, Old-time string band music, Cajun or a variety of other traditional American musics. Jon’s songwriting is firmly grounded in those traditions, yet distinctly contemporary. Widely acknowledged for his stunning, intricate guitar work, he has received international recognition for his mastery of the instrument as well as for his songwriting. He has released five critically acclaimed albums of his own as well as performing on a number of recordings with other artists.

Bassette's song "Homesick" having been originally written and performed as a country blues, was the perfect choice for Mosey.   "This one feels like I wrote it with him," says Mosey.   Yep.
